How to Cook Frozen Burgers in The Oven and NOT Make a Mess!
Kitchen utensils, gadgets and doo dads you need for cooking your burgers in the oven:
- Wire Baking Rack or Broiler Pan ~ I use these for everything…it's a much healthier way to cook because the grease goes through to the bottom of the pan and away from the meat. The non stick racks are the best…easy clean once again.
- &
- Large Cookie Sheet Pan with sides ~ Gotta have large Cookie Sheet Pans, I don't want to clean more than one pan.
- Spatula ~ I love my silicone spatulas because you can use them in extreme heat or cold and they are so easy to clean!!
- Aluminum Foil or Parchment paper
- Meat Thermometer ~ optional but recommended
If you are asking yourself "how do I cook premade burgers in the oven?"
Then these are the exact steps to an easier life my friends!!
Line your Cookie Sheet with foil or parchment paper ~ You can really use any kind of baking tray. Make sure you lay aluminum foil all the way to the edges and up the sides.
Lay the Cooling Racks / Rack on top of foil..
Spray with Cooking Oil, this is so your frozen patties won't stick to rack…gotta have easy clean up.
Lay Frozen Hamburger Patties onto racks… homemade or store bought, either works great! We like a nice crust on our frozen patty so that is why we use the rack. That way they are not sitting in grease while baking and it creates a better-tasting burger!

Place Cooking Sheet in the middle of your oven rack.
