A recently expanded California home
The owners of this beautiful house have ever been proud of their home and enjoyed living in it. Recently, they realized they needed more space for spending time every bit a family. They then decided to aggrandize their lovely home which was built by developer-architect Joe Eichler. Together they created a program that would allow them to expand the house while as well preserving its history and original design.
Located in Palo Alto, California, the house has 3 bedrooms and ii baths and a full surface of 2,418 square feet. After the expansion, it besides got a new wing. Information technology wasn't a dramatic alter as the new wing was created by converting what used to be a concrete patio. This new addition now contains the family room and the kitchen, the spaces where anybody usually spends well-nigh of their day as a family unit. The new wing is a sort of intermediate betwixt the indoor and outdoor areas.
The family room is connected to the kitchen and to a sort of informal dining area. It's an open plan that follows the same main lines as the rest of the house in terms of interior design. Information technology also has some unique characteristics that allow information technology to stand out. For example, the living room has a 10-foot high ceiling whereas the rest of the house has 8-foot high ceilings. Since the extension has a new kitchen, the onetime one was no longer necessary and was repurposed.
